Topweight 1.Yulong Prince is a well-travelled galloper having started his career in South Africa before winding up in the Chris Waller Stable. He ran well in the Doncaster Handicap before being slightly disappointing at this track and distance last time. He will get back in the field and needs a strong tempo set to allow him to get into the race in the straight. 17.Bottega should push forward from a wide gate and he is a lightly raced Snitzel colt going places. He could get the right trail behind Greysful Glamour, especially if the likes of White Boots inject some speed into the race.

Deprive has a devastating turn of foot on his day and loves this track and distance. 3.Greyworm is the early favourite and is a model of consistency. If he gets his own way in front it’s all over but we suspect the likes of 8.Snitz and 9.Murillo will keep him honest.
